Hotel Middelburg

The comfort double room boasts a clean, modern vibe with a fridge and air conditioning. Breakfast provides a solid mix of food, including cooked options like bacon and eggs, along with a selection of pastries and cheeses.

The hotel feels like a motel tucked away on the city fringe, next to a McDonald's and a large shopping mall, which detracts from the ambiance. It can be tricky getting to the city center on foot, especially with ongoing roadworks making navigation challenging, limiting the options for those who can't walk far.

Our room was not only warm, but also tidy with coffee, electrical kettle, bathroom. The location was easy, just a short stroll away from Mini Mundi Amusement Park.

The breakfast offered an excellent selection, including a variety of pastries, eggs, meats, and cheeses, a good way to start the day.

The hotel is situated quite far from the city center, and the surrounding area lacks charm, making it inconvenient for pedestrians.

Rooms were comfy and clean, but the dining options were pretty limited-felt a bit basic. Sweet as free parking though!

The hotel was in a MARVELLOUS location, on the island in WW2. Besides, it was adjacent to different supermarkets like Media Markt and take-away sites as McDonalds'.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was good as it was on the outskirts of town and the staff were friendly.

The hotel just needs to tidy itself up! We had to change rooms as the door didn't close properly. In our children's room, the radiator was leaking and the leg had to be put back on the bed! It's a shame as fundamentally, the hotel is fine - just needs a bit of TLC. I would have liked a kettle in the room.

The staff's warmth was excellent, and the hotel's helpfulness with bike rentals made exploring Middelburg enjoyable. A lovely evening on the terrace capped off our stay beautifully.

The staff were wonderful. Agreat location for traveling with a car. Nice sized rooms. They had a hair dryer to borrow, which was very convenient.

The area surrounding the hotel is pretty uninspiring, located next to a McDonald's and a shopping mall, which detracts from the overall experience. It's also about a 30-minute walk to the city center, especially with ongoing roadworks causing obstructions. Some rooms are on the small side, which might not suit everyone, and there were mentions of cleanliness issues with bed linens that could use a closer look.

The owner was so helpful and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered a good selection with wonderful fresh bread rolls.
